#WalangPasok: List of class suspensions for Monday

Several cities in Metro Manila and some other places in Luzon have suspended classes on Monday,  June 11, due to heavy rains brought about by Typhoon Domeng.

As of this posting, classes have been suspended at all levels in all public and private schools in the following areas in Metro Manila:

  • Caloocan
  • Las Piñas
  • Malabon
  • Mandaluyong
  • Manila
  • Marikina
  • Muntinlupa
  • Navotas
  • Parañaque
  • Pasay
  • Pasig
  • Pateros
  • Quezon City
  • San Juan
  • Valenzuela

Also in Metro Manila, Taguig suspended classes but only from preschool to senior high school in both public and private schools.

Outside of Metro Manila, the following areas also suspended classes at all levels in both public and private schools:

  • Bataan
  • Rizal
  • Lian in Batangas
  • Olongapo and Subic in Zambales

Abra suspended classes only from preschool to senior high school in all public and private schools, while Bacoor in Cavite suspended classes only from preschool to grade school in all public and private schools.

The state weather bureau said in its 4 p.m. weather bulletin that monsoon rains would affect Metro Manila and rest of Luzon on Monday.

Typhoon Domeng was last spotted at 1,295 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
