Not even a “villain” portrayal by her critics or her failed presidential bid in 2016 could stop Senator Grace Poe from doing her work in the Senate.

On Thursday, Poe finally broke her silence on various surveys, which showed her consistently topping the people’s choice for senator in next year’s elections.

But more than popularity, she said, keeping the people’s trust was more important for her.

Poe then talked to about her dreams for the country when she ran for president in 2016.

Despite her unsuccessful bid, she said she continued to work hard in the Senate to make her dreams a reality.

The senator promised to also continue fighting corruption in government.  /kga
