Authorities from the Marikina City Police Station arrested two alleged drug pushers in a buy bust operation at Singkamas Street, Barangay Tumana, Marikina City on Wednesday night.

A report from Marikina police said that arresting officers seized six sachets of suspected crystal meth or shabu from the suspects, identified as Ronaldo de Ocampo, 62, a resident of Barangay Tumana; and Jestoni Soliven, 30, a resident of Barangay Industrial Valley Complex, Marikina City.

Officers also found the P500 bill used as marked money by the undercover operative, and a violet coin purse.

Marikina police said that the suspects and the confiscated substances have been brought to the Eastern Police District’s PNP Crime Laboratory for drug testing and laboratory examination.

Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects before the Marikina City Prosecutor’s Office. /je
