A member of the former Board of Inquiry (BOI) for the Mamasapano clash is the new Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson.

In a special order released Friday, PNP chief Dir. Gen. Oscar Albayalde named Sr. Supt. Benigno Durana Jr. as the new chief of the PNP Public Information Office, replacing Chief Supt. John Bulalacao.

Bulalacao was assigned to the Police Regional Office 6 in Western Visayas, replacing Chief Supt. Cesar Binag who was reassigned to the PNP’s Directorate for Information and Communication Technology Management. /kga
