Palace announces new presidential appointees to various agencies
President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed new undersecretaries to various government agencies.
In a set of appointment letters released by Malacañan to the public on Tuesday, the President appointed retired Vice Adm. Alexander S. Lopez, former Western Command chief, to the Department of Energy.
He also promoted Interior Assistant Secretary Epimaco Densing III, who has played a key role in the cleanup of Boracay Island.
The President appointed Undersecretary Renato Ebarle, former presidential chief of staff.
Meanwhile, Duterte also reappointed publicist Dante Ang as special envoy for international public relations and William Lima and Fernando Borja as special envoys to China.
The President appointed 32 prosecutors to various offices nationwide. /atm
