Human skeletal remains found in Lucena fishpond

LUCENA CITY – Human skeletal remains were found in a deserted fishpond here Monday afternoon.

Senior Police Officer 1 Rosemarie Angcana, Lucena police public information officer, said one Reynaldo Molleda, found the human remains in an abandoned fishpond in Barangay Ibabang Talim around 5:30 p.m.

Molleda immediately reported his discovery to a village official who collected the remains.

Police brought the human skeletal remains to a local funeral home for examination and possible identification by police crime lab personnel. /muf
