Four hurt in two road accidents in Benguet

BAGUIO CITY — Four people were hurt in two vehicular accidents in the Benguet town of Tuba on Thursday afternoon, police and rescue workers said.

Archie Dabajo, a resident of San Fernando City in Pampanga province, was hurt when his 10-wheeler truck crashed into a parked truck along Sitio (subvillage) Bontiwey in Barangay (village) Poblacion at around 4:55 p.m.

Meanwhile, three were hurt when an elf truck collided with a motorcycle along Camp 5 in Kennon Road, also in Tuba town, according to the Office of Civil Defense.

Francis Tibab, Jun Tiway and Liwan Dindo were rushed to a Baguio City hospital.  It was not clear at press time whether they were passengers of the truck or the motorcycle.

The driver of the elf truck was identified as Johnny Togatog from Benguet’s capital town La Trinidad.
