Taguig ‘shabu’ peddler jailed in 2003 busted again

Around P680,000 worth of high-grade “shabu” or crystal meth was seized from a woman during a drug bust in Taytay, Rizal, on Tuesday night.

Marlyn Datalio, a resident of Bicutan, Taguig City, was arrested after selling around P200,000 worth of illegal drugs to undercover policemen on C6 Road in Lupang Arenda, Barangay Sta. Ana.

The buy-bust operation was conducted by a joint team from the Calabarzon regional and Taytay police.

“We found out that she was being used by bigtime drug peddlers in Taguig City for their transactions and as a drug courier,” said Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, Calabarzon regional police office director.
