Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment Inc. (TRLEI) denounced the leak on social media of the court resolution regarding the company’s complaint against Japanese gaming tycoon Kazuo Okada.
In a motion submitted to the Office of the City Prosecutor on Wednesday, Tiger Resort questioned why a person who is not even a party to the case has a copy of the resolution that dismissed their complaint against Okada.
According to Tiger Resort, a certain Chloe Kim posted on Facebook and Instagram a picture of the portion of the resolution dismissing the two complaints for estafa that they have filed against Okada.
“Indeed, it is highly irregular how Chloe Kim, who is not even a party to the captioned cases could have access to the Resolutions as early as 18 May 2018 when complainant TRLEI’s counsel was denied access thereto as late as 21 May, 2018,” read the motion.
Tiger Resort mentioned that even on May 21, TRLEI’s counsel was also unable to access the resolution from the Office of the City Prosecutor.
The counsel of Tiger Resort had allegedly gone to the Office of the Prosecutor to get a copy of the resolution upon learning that it has been posted on social media.
However, Tiger Resort alleged that upon inquiry, no resolution was available for release.
The company has sought the inhibition of the prosecutor who signed the resolution based on the social media post. /vvp
