Three children have found skeletal remains of a suspected three-year-old girl stuffed inside a sack in Pagbilao, Quezon.
Pagbilao Municipal Police said the three children found a blue and white sack while scouring for vegetables in a grassy field at Sitio Upper Sapinit, Brgy. Silangan Malicboy around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Thinking it was filled with valuable scraps, the children opened the sack but were surprised when they saw a human skull and pieces of bones.
The skeleton, estimated to be at around two to three years old, was still donning a printed dress when found, police said.
The children reported the discovery to an adult, who then reported it to authorities.
The remains will undergo DNA examination of the Scene of the Crime Operatives to determine its identity, according to police. /kga
