Guard killed after being struck by 10-wheeler in Manila
A security guard died after he was struck by a 10-wheel dump truck in Pandacan, Manila, around 6 a.m. on Sunday.
A report from Supt. Robert Domingo, Pandacan police chief, identified the victim as Rolando Ginete, a security guard of an investigation agency in Malate. He died on the spot.
The truck driver, Jaypee Colin, 30, and his assistant, Magalona Castro, 25, tried to flee but were arrested following a chase.

A motorcycle rider followed the truck to inform the suspects that they had hit Ginete on President Quirino Avenue corner Jesus Street.
