LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives confiscated 500 grams of shabu or crystal meth worth P3.4 million from a suspected drug supplier arrested here on Monday.
The suspect, identified as Myla Panuncio, a resident of Pasay City and believed to be an illegal drugs supplier operating in the Bicol region, was arrested in Barangay (village) Puro by members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Special Enforcement Team around 3:30 p.m.
Christian Frivaldo, PDEA Bicol director, said anti-narcotics operatives seized from Panuncio one big heat-sealed plastic bag containing the illegal drug.
In a phone interview, Frivaldo added that PDEA is digging deeper into the suspect’s background as she’s reportedly operating in different places. /ee
