American man shot dead in Silay City
An American man was shot dead in Silay City in Negros Occidental by two men on Tuesday night, local police reported.
In a spot report released Wednesday, the Silay City police identified the victim as Eric Hendrickson, 57, from Iowa.
Police said Hendrickson was at around 10:10 p.m. by suspectsGilbert Apellido, 40, and 18-year-old Neil Brian Corseno using an unknown gun caliber. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head, said police.

The victim was rushed to the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital Silay City, but was declared dead on arrival.
Investigators have yet to establish the motive behind the shooting. /muf
