Man hurt in Masbate shooting

DIMASALANG, Masbate – A man was wounded after an unidentified gunman shot him in Masbate City before noon Wednesday.

Eddie Bustamante, 41, was shot by the suspected gunman in Barangay (village) Kinamaligan at 10:50 a.m., a report from the Masbate City police said.

Police immediately responded after receiving a text message about the incident.

Bustamante was brought to the hospital for treatment and now in stable condition.

Investigation was still ongoing to identify the suspected gunman and the motive in the shooting. SUZENE CAJEGAS
