BAGUIO CITY — Three children and two women were hurt on Wednesday when the concrete wall of a neighboring church fell on their home in Barangay Irisan, police said.

Sofia Tagilala, 36; her three children; and Cory Gayamman, 32, were sleeping when the wall shattered through their bedroom at 5:30 a.m.

They are now being treated at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.

It was not clear why the wall collapsed. Police said there were construction activities at the compound of the Philippine Independent Church. /je
