Daraga Mayor Gerry Jaucian passes away

DARAGA, Albay – Gerry Rodrigueza Jaucian, incumbent mayor of this town passed away on Friday morning. He was 70.
“He was hospitalized and diagnozed with lung cancer,” said his son Nong Jaucian.

Albay second district Rep. Joey Salceda, cousin of the late mayor, said Jaucian served Daraga town for 24 years where he also became President of League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Albay Chapter.

Jaucian was also the president in Island Cluster Luzon from 2013 to 2016 and national adviser LMP from 2016 until his death.
His remains will be at his residence for vigil in Maroroy village. / muf
