Inting replaced former commissioner Arthur Lim who retired in February 2018. She would serve until February 2, 2025.

The CA justice now joins the Comelec en banc with Parreno, Guanzon, Luie Guia, and Sheriff Abas.

The newly-appointed commissioner hails from Davao City, President Rodrigo Duterte’s hometown.

She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree, cum laude, from the Ateneo de Davao University in 1980, according to the CA website. /je
