3 alleged drug pushers fall in Marikina buy-bust

Agents from the Marikina City Police Station’s Anti-Illegal Drugs Unit arrested three suspected drug pushers during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday night in Barangay Malanday.

Policemen seized eight plastic sachets containing suspected as crystal meth or shabu from suspects Efren Canieso, Angela Canieso, and Marvin Canieso, all residents of 19 Missouri Street, Barangay Malanday.

Also seized from the suspects the marked P1,000 cash used in the buy-bust.

The suspects will be taken to the Eastern Police District’s Crime Laboratory for drug testing and examination of the alleged shabu.

Charges for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are also being readied for filing against the suspects.  / muf
