This documentary follows the life of the mataws (local fishermen) in the village of Diura in remote Batanes. Watch as they set out to sea to catch some dorado (golden fish) until they come back to shore and start the drying process for their bounty. The village has a very short fishing period of only four months so the fishermen need to make sure that their families have enough food stock come the stormy season. Don Lejano/INQUIRER.net
