Bataan couple found dead from bullet wounds

ABUCAY, BATAAN – A man and a woman were found dead from bullet wounds at the St. Leonora Homes here on Wednesday morning (April 25), and investigators believe one of the victims was the murderer.

The hogtied remains of Rina dela Rosa, 43, and the body of Domingo Baluyot, 40, were discovered a few meters apart at 8 a.m. in Barangay (village) Mabatang, said Senior Insp. Jennifer Cruz, Abucay police chief.

Investigators were still trying to determine if Baluyot held the gun that killed Dela Rosa before turning the gun on himself.

Probers believe their deaths were “a crime of passion,” because of a child abuse complaint which the slain woman had filed against Baluyot, Cruz said. GREG REFRACCION /lb
