Fire hits Bacoor residential area

A fire broke out in a residential area in Bacoor, Cavite on Tuesday past noon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

Fire Officer 3 Leila Limbauan of the BFP Bacoor Cavite confirmed that the blaze is currently spreading across a residential area along Brgy. Tabing Dagat, 4th St., Bacoor, Cavite.

Limbauan said the fire started at around 1:28 p.m. and reached the third alarm at 1:49 p.m.

She said the fire is just behind the Bacoor City Hall and near St. Michael Institution.

Firefighters are still trying to put out the fire as of posting.

At 1:50 a.m. of Tuesday, another fire  destroyed a four-unit apartment in Brgy. Aniban V, Bacoor Cavite.

The fire left five people dead,  including a four-month-old baby.
