LEGAZPI CITY – Anti-narcotics operatives confiscated on Wednesday suspected ‘shabu’ (crystal meth) worth P3 million from a drug pusher during a buy-bust operation in Daraga town in Albay province.

Niño Villanueva, alias “Niña” or “Monica”, 38, was arrested in his house in Barangay (village) Bañag at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday when he sold half a kilogram of the illegal drug to undercover policemen, according to Christian Frivaldo, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bicol
on Thursday.

Frivaldo said Villanueva is the number eight high-value target in the agency’s drug watch list.

Villanueva is detained at the PDEA regional detention facility as charges of violating the Comprehensive Illegal Drug Act of 2002 was being prepared against him.
