PCSO GM Balutan: STL gaining ground vs ‘jueteng’

More “jueteng” operators and bettors are switching to the state-run Small Town Lottery (STL), according to Alexander Balutan, general manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

He said 81 jueteng operators and financiers were now patronizing STL after the PCSO and police launched provincial campaigns for bet collectors to play the lottery.

“When I started with PCSO in September 2016, 18 illegal gambling operators joined STL operations,” Balutan said.
