A magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit Davao Oriental on Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
According to Phivolcs, the quake struck east of Cateel, Davao Oriental, at 11:53 a.m.
Phivolcs noted that no aftershocks or damage were expected from the tremor.
The tectonic quake had a depth of 75 kilometers, the agency said. /cbb
