LUCENA CITY – Two alleged major suppliers of marijuana and crystal meth or “shabu” were busted in Tayabas City and Candelaria town over the weekend, police reported on Monday.

The anti-illegal drugs operatives in Candelaria seized 10.32 grams of shabu from Marianito Arguelles, 59, in a buy-bust in Barangay Mangilag Sur on Sunday afternoon, Quezon police director Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento said. The seized shabu was worth P61,920 in the street market.

Police tagged Arguelles, who was previously arrested on drug charges, as one of the major street-level shabu peddlers in the locality.
