Suspect in beheading of man in Lanao nabbed
ILIGAN CITY-The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said it has arrested a suspect in the 2014 kidnapping and beheading of a 24-year-old man in Piagapo, Lanao del Sur.
Abdullah Dimakuta was arrested on Thursday and had since been charged for the kidnapping and beheading of the victim, whom he did not identify, NBI Iligan chief Abdul Jamal Dimaporo said.
Dimaporo, without disclosing the victim’s name, said Dimakuta was part of the group who abducted and beheaded the 24-year-old man when the ransom demand was not met.
Twenty other suspects, he said, were being hunted down. DIVINA SUSON INQ
