Buy-bust in Alabang mall parking lot yields P50-M suspected shabu

Government operatives on Friday seized P50-million worth of suspected shabu and arrested three suspects in a buy-bust operation at a parking lot in Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City.

According to a spot report, joint operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Muntinlupa Police raided the mall’s Parking 5 area at around 12:00 noon after a transaction was made between the suspects and a poseur buyer.


The apprehended suspects were identified in the spot report as Norodian Guimadel Samplidan, 28; Lady Jane Flores Borja, 24; and Regina Inocencia San Miguel, 40.

Seized from the suspects’ possession were five packs of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, weighing more or less 10 kilograms with an estimated street value of P50 million pesos. /jpv
