DID YOU KNOW: 2,617 dengue cases in Metro Manila from Jan. 1 to Feb. 17, 2018

Metro Manila accounted for 18.83 percent or 2,617 dengue cases out of the 13,898 cases reported nationwide from Jan. 1 to Feb. 17 this year, according to the Department of Health.

The region recorded the second highest number of cases during the period, next to Calabarzon with 21.64 percent or 3,008 cases. Latest DOH data also showed nine deaths due to dengue were recorded in Metro Manila during the period. —Marielle Medina
