BAYOMBONG, NUEVA VIZCAYA—Army troops on Wednesday (Mar. 21) clashed with suspected New People’s Army rebels in the remote town of Boliney in Abra province, but no one was hurt.

A report says the 24th Infantry Battalion engaged an undetermined number of armed men in Barangay (village) Upper Poblacion at 9:50 a.m.

The clash lasted for about 10 minutes, said 1st Lieutenant Catherine Hapin, chief of public affairs office of the 7th Infantry Division.
