DID YOU KNOW: March 21-27 is World Theater Week

By virtue of Proclamation No. 1262 signed on March 21, 2007 by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and the International Theater Institute (Unesco-ITI) World Theater Week is observed from March 21 to 27.

World Theater Week, established in 1961, is an occasion for theater artists of varied disciplines in performance and media arts to celebrate the power of theater to bring people together. —Marielle Medina
