If Janet Lim-Napoles was not the “brains” behind the P10-billion pork barrel scam as Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre would have the public believe, then who was the mastermind?
By making Napoles a state witness, Aguirre has adjudged her as the least guilty in the biggest scam in Philippine
history.
Aguirre (valedictorian of San Beda College of Law Class 1971) has something up his sleeves.
He should probably tell us what he knows that we, the people, don’t.
Levito Baligod, former lawyer of the primary witness against Napoles, said Aguirre’s decision lacked “perspicacity.”
One wonders whether Aguirre understands the word.
For a valedictorian, he’s not so smart.

Newly commissioned Ensign Jaywardene Hontoria, who bested 281 other cadets of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 2018, married his fiancée hours after his graduation on Sunday.
Hontoria is a son of a poor farmer and homemaker from Pavia, Iloilo province.
It’s none of our business but he could have attended to his parents’ financial needs first and gotten married later.
With the high salary of military men — thanks to President Duterte — Hontoria’s parents would appreciate a little financial support from him.
Successful children, remember the sacrifices your parents underwent to make you what you are today!

Three female cadets in this year’s PMA batch made it to the top 10.
As in previous years, female cadets, while always outnumbered by their male counterparts, were among the topnotchers.
In some years, there were more female than male cadets in the top 10!
In bar exams, a goodly number of topnotchers are women.
What can be gleaned from this?
That women are smarter than men.

A total of 106 cadets graduated recently from the Philippine National Police Academy
The new graduates now carry the rank of inspector (equivalent to a second lieutenant in the Armed Forces).
If they are not reined in well by their superiors, the new graduates will end up being among the corrupt and abusive members of the PNP.
But how can they be managed when their superiors themselves are corrupt and abusive?

Four members of the Bulacan PNP were recently accused of rape by a four-month pregnant woman in Meycauayan town.
The four cops would have raped the woman’s two-year-old child had she not pleaded with them, she said.
How did those cops, three of them police officers 1 or rookies, pass the neuropsychiatric tests given to candidates for the police service?
Policemen, along with their counterparts in the military, have been given a 100% increase in salary.
Many people think they don’t deserve a pay hike.
Abusado na, may suweldo pa? (Abusive and yet they are paid for it?)
