Ampatuan patriarch’s arraignment set for June 1

MANILA, Philippines – The arraignment of Andal Ampatuan Sr. is set for June 1 after a number of delays, Judge Jocelyn Solis-Reyes said Friday.

In an order she issued late afternoon, Solis-Reyes of regional trial court Branch 221 said, however, that the arraignment of the 21 other accused in the Maguindanao massacre trial would be held in abeyance.
