5 suspected druggies fall in Pasig raid

Police on Friday apprehended five drug suspects, three of whom were watch-listed, during a raid on a drug den in De Leon Compound, Purok 3, Pineda, Pasig City.

In a spot report, Pasig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit and Station Intelligence Unit operatives raided the drug den as three of the suspects were having a drug session in one of the rooms.

The suspects were identified as George Divina Gracia, 55; Caroline Catapang, 42; and Ralph Carlo De Leon, 19.

The suspects’ lookouts were also arrested: Asuncion Cruz Deleon, 69; and Felix De Leon, 72.

Seized during the raid were 23 pieces of heat-sealed transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance, a weighing scale, and other drug paraphernalia.

The arrested persons together with the seized pieces of evidence were brought to Pasig City Police Station for documentation and further investigation.

The raid was conducted upon issuance of a search warrant by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 152.
