Fire razes residential area in Quezon City

A huge fire has broken out across residential areas in Barangay Botocan and Barangay Krus na Ligas in Quezon City on Tuesday evening.

The burning residential area is located near the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) headquarters in Camp Karingal.


As of 7:25 p.m., the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) raised the fire alarm to Task Force Bravo, according to Fire Alert Metro Manila.

Traffic enforcers and fire fighters have been dispatched to the scene to snuff out the blaze.

The fire was raised to the Fourth Alarm when it was initially reported around 6 p.m. It was then raised to Task Force Alpha after 7 p.m.


Over 10 fire trucks from neighboring districts and cities are deployed to respond to a Task Force Bravo fire alarm. A Task Force fire alarm is also handled by the BFP Regional Director. /je
