Gunmen kill farmer, hurt 2 others in Isabela
CABAGAN, ISABELA-Two motorcycle-riding gunmen shot and killed a farmer and injured two others one of them at the overflow bridge in Cansan village at 4 p.m. on Monday (Feb. 26).
Martin Limbuan Jr., 58, died when the gunmen opened fire on a tricycle, hitting the other passengers, Loreto Masiddo and Benjie Angoluan.
They were on their way home, said Supt. Ronald Laggui, Isabela police spokesperson.
Masiddo, was in critical condition, and has been transferred to the Cagayan Valley Medical Center in Tuguegarao City while Angoluan was brought to the Gambalan Hospital in Delfin Albano town also in Isabela.
Police have yet to establish why they were attacked. /lb
