Motorists advised on QC, Caloocan road works
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) advised motorists to use alternative routes as road reblocking and repairs will continue this weekend in Caloocan and Quezon City.
According to DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin Navarro, the repair works on six major roads in Quezon City and one in Caloocan will start 11 p.m. Friday.
In Quezon City, to be affected is the northbound direction of the following roads: Visayas Avenue in front of the Department of Agriculture; Edsa, between Landers Street to Howmart; Congressional Avenue Extension corner Tandang Sora Avenue; Congressional Avenue, from Edsa to Cagayan Street; Quirino Highway, from T. Urbano to Pagkabuhay Road; and A. Bonifacio Avenue, from Calavite Street to Mariveles Street.
Also scheduled for repairs is the southbound direction of A. Bonifaco Avenue, crossing Sgt. Rivera.
Repair works will also be done on the northbound lane of Bonifacio Monumento Circle in Caloocan City.
