Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II on Tuesday said the Department of Justice (DOJ) will push through with its investigation on the criminal complaint filed against former President Benigno Aquino III and 19 others related to the controversial anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia.

The Justice Chief is referring to the complaint filed by the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) and Vanguard of the Philippine Constitution Inc. (VPCI) which will be subjected to a preliminary investigation.

“It’s up to the complainants to prove their allegations. It’s their duty to support their cases and not depend on another’s submission,” Aguirre said.
