The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has lifted the number coding scheme for Friday in line with the Chinese New Year.

In an advisory posted on Tuesday, the MMDA announced on its official social media accounts that the suspension of number coding covers the whole Metro Manila with an exception to Las Piñas and Makati.

On a regular Friday, private and public vehicles with plate numbers ending in 9 and 0 are prohibited to be on the road from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. /cbb
