Cop dies with lone gunshot wound in head in Bohol town
TAGBILARAN City, Bohol — A lone gunman shot dead a police officer in Buenavista town early Monday morning.
The officer was identified as SPO1 Alejandro Estorgio of the Buenavista Municipal Police Station. He died with a bullet wound in the head.
The suspect was identified Emigdio Aparece Jr., who is wanted for murder in this town. He reportedly had a grudge with the officer.

According to a police report, Estorgio was assigned to provide security at the disco in front of the Buenavista Gymnasium on Sunday evening.

He was shot in the head at around 1:10 a.m. Monday.
People screamed on seeing the officer slumped on the ground.
Estorgio was taken to Francisco Dagohoy Memorial Hospital in Inabanga town, where he was pronounced dead. /atm
