3 arrested in separate drug raids in QC

The Quezon City Police District arrested Jaime Gonzaga Jr., 36; Ivy Ponteveros, 41; and Alexander Macapagal, 40, all residents of the city. Police raided Gonzaga’s house in Paradise Village in Barangay Sangandaan around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday and seized seven sachets with suspected shabu worth P50,000, a bulletproof vest and several drug paraphernalia.

On Friday, Ponteveros and Macapagal were collared in a drug bust  in Barangay Saint Peter in La Loma around 12:30 a.m.  Seized from them were 18 sachets of shabu worth P150,000, drug paraphernalia and a red Suzuki motorbike.—JHESSET O. ENANO
