Partial closure of Sevilla Bridge starts; traffic rerouted

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will reroute traffic near Sevilla Bridge, which would be partially closed to traffic starting at 10 p.m. on Saturday to pave the way for the rehabilitation and upgrading of the bridge.

Jojo Garcia, the MMDA’s assistant general manager for planning, said they had prepared over the last three months all the necessary traffic measures needed to ensure that traffic would still be moving while the 30-meter bridge undergoes repair.
