The Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) pulled out one of its trains on Thursday rush hour due to a system failure.
MRT-3 media relations officer Aly Narvaez said that the train dropped off its passengers at North Ave. at 7:07 a.m. after it suffered a Public Address System malfunction.
However, Narvaez clarified that it was not an unloading incident and in fact, the train completed a full loop.
On Wednesday, five trains of the MRT-3 were also removed due to electrical failure.
MRT-3 General Manager had offered to resign after the House of Representatives grilled him during a transportation hearing.
