Around 1,500 workers put their efforts together to finish a railway project in China in just a span of nine hours.
The workers connected three railway stations — the Ganlong Railway, Ganruilong Railway and Zhanglong Railway — to the newly constructed Nanlong Railway. This took place in the city of Longyan. Work started on Friday and lasted until the early hours of Saturday, Xinhua News Agency via The Daily Mail reported.
The supervisor said they used 23 diggers and seven trains, as shown in a video, to finish the project within that short span of time.
China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group deputy manager Zhan Daosong said the workers had been assigned to seven units to tackle different tasks at the same time, making their work faster.
The railway measured 246 kilometers in length. It will be able to support trains with a maximum speed of 2oo kilometers per hour.
