A woman and her two children were thrown in jail Tuesday morning after the police raided their Quezon City home, which the family had allegedly turned into a drug den.

Serving a search warrant, members of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested Elvira Manansala, 48; her 20-year-old son Marlon; and her 23-year-old daughter Marjorie at their house on Zambales Street in Barangay San Martin de Porres, Cubao.

A report to Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, QCPD director, said Manansala was on the watch list of suspected drug users and pushers in the area, who earlier surrendered under the government’s “Oplan Tokhang” campaign.

On Jan. 3, a female tipster alerted the QCPD about the suspects’
residence being used as a “one-stop shop” where drug users could buy “shabu” and take the drug.
