Cloudy skies, rain in Mindanao – Pagasa

Easterlies or winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean are affecting parts of Mindanao, which is likely to experience overcast skies and scattered rain and thunderstorms this Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Specifically, the weather bureau said that the easterlies will bring cloudy skies and rain over Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is affecting Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, the rest of Cagavan Valley Region, Ilocos, and Cordillera Region.

Pagasa predicted partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain due to localized thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country this Tuesday.           /kga
