4 soldiers hurt in Misamis Or road crash

ILIGAN CITY – Four soldiers were injured when the military vehicle they were in collided with a taxi in Naawan, Misamis Oriental on Friday midnight.

The soldiers were part of a convoy of relief and health workers bound for Barangay Rogongon in this city when the accident happened.

Soldiers and health workers were to deliver food packs and other services to residents of Sitio Limunsudan, who were affected by clashes between the military and the New People’s Army (NPA) in November 2017.

Dr. Charles Marquez, who was among those in the convoy, said the soldiers remained conscious but were in pain after the mishap.   /kga
