DAVAO CITY—-Officials who would be found liable for the Dengvaxia mess could face charges, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said on Friday.

“The (Department of Health) and the Senate were continuing with their investigation. Maybe cases would be filed against those who would be found to have committed mistakes,” Roque told reporters in Malaybalay City.

He said President Duterte was also very clear when he said that there should be no finger-pointing in the aftermath of the scandal.

“Our President was clear when he said he did not want finger-pointing. What was important was to ensure the health of our youth,” he said.

Roque said the DOH had also been ordered to tightly monitor those who had received Dengvaxia shots.
