He was not the target of the police, but a Makati City resident who happened to be at a crime suspect’s Quezon City residence ended up in jail as well.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said Michael Pilar, 37, of Barangay Kasilawan, Makati, was found carrying 11 government IDs that bore his photo but had different names.

Around 6 p.m. on Monday, a QCPD team arrived at a house on Scout De Guia Street, Barangay Laging Handa, to serve arrest warrants on Benedict Tan Tiu, who is facing perjury and estafa cases in Makati, Pasig, Batangas and Biñan in Laguna province.
