Duterte appoints Diño as DILG undersecretary

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed former Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman Martin Diño as undersecretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Duterte signed Diño’s appointment paper on Monday but was released only on Tuesday to the media.

Diño was eased out of the SBMA after Duterte appointed lawyer Wilma Eisma as the both SBMA chairman and administrator. /jpv
