Five years ago, Rev. Father Gregory Ramos asked for help from Inquirer readers as he waged a major battle, having just been diagnosed with cancer of the bone marrow.
Now, the 58-year-old semi-retired priest is asking for assistance again.
“The result of my serum protein test in November 2017 shows that my cancer has recurred,” he told the Inquirer.
Dr. Francisco Lopez, his physician at St. Luke’s Medical Center-Bonifacio Global City, has advised him to undergo stem cell therapy, chemotherapy and infusion. The three procedures will cost P2 million.
“When I went into remission, I still continued my ministry. I am still active but limit my activities to lighter ones, like saying Mass once in the morning and once in the afternoon at BF Homes Parañaque. Being a parish priest can be quite stressful,” Ramos said.
He can be reached at 0917-8438368. Donations can be deposited in his Metrobank account (#000-7-465-50418-4).
